Watch Ken Block drives Ford Fiesta ST on an ice rink.

Ken Block , the master of rally driving, recently headed to  Budapest to take some fans on a ride around an ice rink in the Ford Fiesta ST. The fans who won a contest got a chance to ride with Ken. Ken’s driving has become the perfect promotion of the fiesta ST. Surprisingly there were some cameras to capture the whole event.

The Ford Fiesta  ST has a 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine with a snappy six-speed manual gearbox. It can reach 0-100 km/h in 6.9 seconds and a top speed of 220km/h. It's really a big performance “hot cars.”

Former GM marketing head LaNeve takes over Lincoln's ad agency.


Former top North American marketer at General Motors and ex-head of Cadillac Mark LaNeve has taken over as leader of the Lincoln brand's ad agency, a Ford Motor Co. spokesman said today.

Mark LaNeve replaces Cameron McNaughton. Cameron McNaughton had been president of the agency, Hudson Rouge, since it was founded in 2011.

Mark LaNeve will keep his other title: COO of Team Detroit, the Ford brand's advertising agency. He has been working there since August 2012.

Ford spokesman Chris Preuss said "Mark brings a tremendous amount of equity and understanding of the luxury space," He also said "When you look at Mark's credentials, having redone Cadillac and Volvo, it makes a lot of sense."

LaNeve assumes control of the agency as the high-class Lincoln brand is going through a difficult revival. The 2013 MKZ sedan was heralded as the first car in that revival, but its launch has been hobbled by production delays and quality bugs.

Lamborghini Miura SV burns on a London street.


The video above shows the sickening footage of an original Lamborghini Miura P400 SV burning to the ground in the middle of a road in London.

While it is unclear how the fire started. It  has a reputation of catching on fire easily and it is recommended that owners carry a fire extinguisher as a precaution. The car could have suffered a wiring fault as a result of the engine overheating.

It's very sad to see one destroyed by fire because The hot cars like Lamborghini Miura is considered to be one of the most beautiful cars to ever be produced.

Court approves Suzuki’s bankruptcy plan.


Suzuki has won acceptance for its chapter 11 plan to stop promoting vehicles in the US while instead on the organization's power-sports products.  A judge in the Central District of California has approved American Suzuki Motor Corporation’s Chapter 11 plan  after the company's creditors agreed to the conditions.

Suzuki will now sell its motorcycle, ATV and marine divisions under the Suzuki name. The new company will be completely possessed by Suzuki motor Company.

The company says it will now be able to develop its power-sports business here. The company will also provide auto parts and service to current Suzuki owners.

Detroit Electric will release sedan & hutchback




Detroit Electric exposed its new SP:01 electric sports car at Detroit's Fisher Building Wednesday. 

More than 100 years after it started making vehicles. Detroit Electric established in 1906 and made 13,000 Electric cars. Its customers were Johnson Thomas Edison, David D. Rockefeller and Gretchen Ford's spouse, Clara. But the company stopped production in 1939, get over by the Great Depression and drivers' increasing choice for gasoline-fueled engine.

Detroit Electric was revived five years ago by former Lotus Cars and Apple Inc. executive Albert Lam.

During a media briefing, Jordan Lam, chair and CEO, and Don Graundstadt, CEO of North American operations, informed journalists that the new designs arriving to promote will be a sedan and hatchback, both of which will cost far less than the $135,000 SP:01 sports car. By the way, the cost doesn’t  consist of federal tax credit. Specific costs hasn't been declared, but Lam said that the vehicles will be cost for "everyday practical usage" and that one of them could drop in the $30,000 to $35,000 variety.

Specific information about the new automobile and hatchback have not been divulged, but Detroit Eletric says the vehicles will have both short-range and long-range battery options. Detroit Electric operated will make 999 SP:01s. They'll be marketed globally starting in Aug.

Next Volkswagen Scirocco will be Radically Different, Says Volkswagen’s Walter de Silva.




One of the most popular automaker Volkswagen is planning to introduce the next generation of the Scirocco in a couple of year and it’s promising to the revolutionary.

When Volkswagen revived the Scirocco name in 2008, people were satisfied to see that the Wolfsburg manufacturer was making exciting and different vehicles. It really has a positive image in the VW range, and it did manage to sell 10,000 units in its first two years of production.

The new model is going to lunch around the year 2015. De Silva said “It must be completely different. Completely,” He also said “We don’t want to repeat the body style of the Scirocco, we want to change that. At the moment, it’s only a studio [project]. It’s not defined at the moment. We are still working…but we are looking 360 degrees,” 

The new Volkswagen Scirocco will be a front-wheel drive model. All-wheel drive might be available as an option. It will hit the market in 2015.

Porsche revealed new 911 RSR Racer.




Porsche has revealed its most awaited racer car, the 2013 Porsche 911 RSR. The car has been created for special racing events such as Le Guys & surely going to give a tough competition to other established cars brands such as Aston Martin, Chevrolet & Ferrari. It will compete in the 2013 season of the World Endurance Championship and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. 



The car has has 4.0-liter six-cylinder boxer engine & semi-automatic six-speed transmission gearbox with paddle shifters. It has a carbon fiber body developed specifically by the team at Porsche Motorsport.

Everyone would be more thrilled to see Porsche 911 RSR racer on the race track competing with all other cars
